I started having horrible hot flashes when I stopped taking the birth control pill for MANY years. They came every 45 minutes and I would be soaking wet and water running down my face and body. Trying to sleep was unbearable! I tried one of those over-the-counter remedies but that did absolutely nothing! I started taking MACA750™ at the end of November and could not believe that with 24 hours I realized that it had been hours between the hot flashes. In a couple of weeks, they became much less severe and less frequent. This herb has been like a miracle to me.

I have been taking MACA750™ from Medicine Plants™ since March 2004. I had a terrible experience at the onset of some severe hot flashes a year ago. I broke out in a bad case of hives and ended up in the ER. No one associated it with hot flashes until I figured it out a month later. I was being treated for the hives. But then I did go into my doctor and told her I thought it was caused by hot flashes. She did an estrogen check and found that I was 111.6 on the scale of 113 ... higher than she'd ever seen. I am still on Allegra to control the hives.

My doctor put me on Effexer XR (to control flashes) and I had a bad reaction which put me in the ER, again, after my blood pressure dropped to 70 over 50 from just one of the "ramp-up" pills. After recouping from that episode, my doctor didn't know what to do except HRT therapy, which she wasn't inclined to prescribe. I was pill-phobic at that point. I began searching for options. I found MACA750™ on your site. Out of desperation, I ordered it and it worked within 5 days! I am eternally grateful, and very happy to be taking something that is also healthy for my body. I'm now taking the prescribed 6 tablets.

Hello once again! I've been taking MACA750™ for 8 weeks now. The first 5 weeks I took 6 capsules a day, then for one week I took 3 capsules a day, and for the last 2 weeks 2 capsules a day. My vaginal dryness is now gone and I am no longer experiencing hot flashes day and night. I sleep soundly through the night now and only once in a while have a very mild hot flash (hardly noticeable). Shall I continue with 2 capsules a day, or cut down to one. I've been using MACA750™ for two weeks and my hot flashes and mood swings have almost completely gone away! I'm very happy and surprised that it worked so fast. My question is do I continue to take 6 capsules a day? When do I decrease my dose? I have had occasional hot flashes, but they are mild and don't last long. Most days I don't have any. THANK YOU. ....I received my MACA750™ and Rhosavin100™ last Wednesday (VERY quickly) and started my own dosing schedule after thoroughly reading every article on your website. I must tell you that I am amazed by this stuff. I started on 6- MACA750™ and 3- Rhosavin100 last Thursday morning with my 1- grain of Armour and was amazed that immediately I saw changes. By Friday night I experienced mild hyper thyroid for the first time ever and dropped my dose of Armour to half a grain yesterday morning. I still experienced infrequent hot flashes on Friday night but none during the day that day so yesterday morning I increased my MACA750™ to 7 and the Rhosavin100™ to 4 and I made it to this morning (Saturday) without a single hot flash and a blessed and lovely complete night's sleep. When I started the MACA750™ last week, I eliminated all other supplements except the Armour. I will reintroduce the vitamin and mineral supplements when I am confident how the MACA750™/Rhosavin100™ is going to affect me. I am extremely enthusiastic about how I feel and I cannot believe that I have also seen a very mild improvement (but improvement non-the- less) in the hypothyroid edema I had learned to live with, could it be that, that will also go away??? I will get back to you in 10 days as you have requested and I would like to thank you again for your help. If I am doing anything wrong please advise, I know the dose I chose before receiving your email is a lot higher then your suggestion but I am so delighted to have had a night without hot flash I can't begin to tell you!!!!! Your web site literature says that most people start on the maximum dose or even a little higher and wean down, it also says since it is a food product you can't really take too much, however I do not want to unnecessarily take too much and waste a precious supplement. At what point do most people begin to wean down [your web site says 2-3 weeks]? I will know by how I feel but a guideline is always nice, I realize that I have a more complicated history then most. This supplement is absolutely amazing and everything your web site promises! I will be anxious myself to see where I am at in 10 days given what has happened in 4 days. I am taking two capsules of MACA750™ a day. From the very beginning, I noticed an improvement in my energy level. My menstrual cycle seems to have stabilized. My last menstrual cycle lasted 33 days ... regular for me these days ... without the aid of any natural progesterone cream, which you may remember I was taking in an effort to stabilize the timing of my periods and my mood swings. I am continuing with the chaste tree berry. In this last cycle, I did not experience the severe swings, or the odd reactions to particular substances, including white tea and wine, that I previously had. My chiropractor has been treating my pituitary, and in the last month, it has been stable (whereas previously, about every two weeks, it had to be corrected). I continue to have various stress "reactions" of one sort or another ... my external stressors have been inordinately high since late September, especially. I have been doing a variety of things to strengthen my adrenals and my general capacity, including chiropractic, reiki and licorice ... all of which seem to have been beneficial. There continues to be room for improvement there. Overall, my reaction seems to have been positive. I do not want to overdo a good thing, but I also want to achieve the maximum benefit. What do you recommend with respect to dosage?
